Our page is very out of date. I guess that happens when you have been doing lots of things.
Welcome to "our" home page. It's a work in progress and will change when I get time to do stuff to it. I'm Bill and you might just find some other people hiding in here. It's all about having fun and loving little babies and big playful puppies. Our mascot who you can see there on the left is a mixed mess of parts that goes by the name "Rascal" cause that's what she is.
I feel like the line in that bad insurance commercial: "Life comes at you fast" It has been nearly two years since an update happened to this page. A great deal has changed. For now, I am posting pictures for all who want to see the latest on the twins Michelle and Nicholas.
Look over there <= on the left and select the key to go to our page with all the picture links for the little ones. Michelle and Nicholas want you to come see them getting into everything.
Project updates!
Projects on the house took a lot out of me right before the babies showed up.
August 2008 scrambling to get the last big house project in time for the babies. Look here to see a fool working on a complete kitchen tiling job in 3 very short weekends. "Not Finished"
Lots of other updates will come along as I get sleep. Little chance of that for now.
Fun comes in many forms. My main source of play involves motorcycle touring. Check out the picture links and see a lot of the things we see while we are touring. Lots more to come as the adventures continue.
Who am I? Good question. I've never been able to figure that out. I've been a construction equipment operator, a plain old laborer at a Home Shopping Network warehouse, a cook/chef at both good and bad restaurants and many other things. Right now I am a storage systems designer/manager for a company out of Austin, Texas called Collective Technologies. It's rather light right now, but you can check the stories area for things I have been or done.
Update June 2005, I'm no longer a single person. The lovely young lady you see in many of the pictures here is my wife now. We married on June 4th, 2005 in a nice ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mivon and I are enjoying all the fun that comes from getting together. Mivon is learning to deal with the full name change to Mivon Marianella Duffy. That's quite the name don't you think? I like it!
Update July 2005: I'm moving east again. Moved west to see if I could live in California. Could not do it so I am moving back east. Lots to do, lots to do!
Update late August 2005, After two very intense months we have relocated to North Carolina from the wilds of California. How to test a new marriage? Try to find an buy a house together when the two of you have some small troubles communicating :-) It has been very intense but very worth the efforts.
All kinds of stories need to be added and will be over time. Must wait for the winter months when I have less to do on the house or repair of various machines. Stay tuned for all kinds of fun things.
And now for something completely different, Mivon's latest hobby. Bird Watching!
Update November 2005. We have done two Thanksgiving things this year. The normal visit to the relatives in Pennsylvania. The usual fun was had by all. See pictures under Holidays area. We also created the neatest Gingerbread house for our friends Bill and Evelyn Wesson's family Thanksgiving. It was definitely a hit with the little ones there. See pictures here.
Update December 2005. We have celebrated our first Christmas together. We did not have luck the first year because Mivon had already booked a flight home for a month and I had no way to take that much time off to join her in Peru. We had much fun this year and you can see lots of pictures of it here.
Update June 2006. Indeed it's been a long time coming around. We have had many things going on so I have been busy.
The big search for a truck happened on January 1st. Had a desire to change the assortment of vehicles that Mivon and I use for our daily and special travels. Now since I wanted a Cummins turbo diesel ever since they came out, I finally convinced Mivon that we should go get one. Hence the new addition to our family. You can see it here.
Week before Memorial Day 2006 we did a nice long ride all the way from NC to Key West and back. Much sand, sun and fun. See what we were into here.
Now every one teased us about having a 2500 Ram and no reason for it. Telling them it pulls the bikes did not work out. See here now is a real job for the beasty.
June 4th - Anniversary 1. We made it though what is supposed to be the roughest year!
Now for boating. June 13th we became boaters, first time for Mivon and a return after many many years for me. See some boat pictures here.
Time for summer fun.
More to come shortly.
Of course the site is "Still Under Construction". Things are subject to change just like the weather.
Feel like yelling at the webmaster (that's ME!) then try . I'm always up for spam mail. I have to teach the filter somehow.
